GaragePort is currently operating as a concierge beta. We collect information submitted through forms in order to review storage spaces, match renters with potential hosts, and communicate about requests.
Information we collect
We collect information you submit directly through host, renter, booking, and contact forms, plus basic analytics about how visitors arrive on our site.
Information submitted by hosts
Name, email, phone, listing title and description, address details (city, ZIP, address line), space type, dimensions, surface, access details, pricing expectations, and any photos or notes you share.
Information submitted by renters
Name, email, phone, what you want to store (vehicles, furniture, boxes, business inventory, equipment, or other items), item or vehicle dimensions where relevant, preferred city, state and ZIP, desired dates, expected duration, access needs, budget range, and any notes.
Lead source and analytics data
We log basic technical and marketing context for each submission: UTM parameters, referrer URL, landing page, and aggregated event data such as form starts and submissions. This helps us understand how people find GaragePort and improve the beta.
How we use information
We use submitted information to review host listings, match renters with potentially suitable hosts, coordinate booking requests, respond to your messages, send transactional emails about your requests, and improve the service.
How we share information
During the concierge beta, our team mediates introductions. We may share relevant information (such as renter needs or host availability) between hosts and renters strictly to coordinate a possible match. We use service providers for hosting, database, email delivery and analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Email communications
We send transactional emails related to your submissions (confirmations, follow-ups, match coordination). Every marketing or non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link.
Data retention
We retain submitted information for as long as it is useful to operate the beta, comply with legal obligations, and respond to user inquiries. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
